- Mike, Janet & Dave built Alegria in Everett, WA, 1974 to '76. We left Seattle in 1977 to 79 for a trip on Alegria with 3 friends from Seattle to Acapulco, Tahiti, Hawaii, Canada, Seattle. In 1981 we went back to the Pacific side of Mexico for 5.3 years and then Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala and we arrived at Texas in 1989. Texas ‘89 to ’99. Up to Baltimore, MD until 2005. Then we crossed the Atlantic in 2005. We wintered ‘05/’06 at Lagos, Portugal, ‘06/’07 at Almerimar, Spain and ‘07/’08 at Porto Turistico di Roma at Ostia Lido near Rome, Italy. We wintered in Marmaris, Turkey for ‘08/’09. We are wintering 3 winters, '09/'10/'12 in Finike, Turkey.
